 At ERC we help clients navigate through State and Federal burial laws and understand how the intersection of these laws effect project permits or compliance with such laws as PRC 5097.98, CEQA, Section 106, and NEPA. This question becomes important when deciding on such things as project schedules, costs, safety, emergency, respectful treatment and disposition, reburial, museum curation, scientific data recovery and analysis, and archaeological studies. At ERC we are coming up with the latest creative and alternative solutions to help minimize project costs but still be respectful to taxpayers, landowners, and tribal communities.
