About Alejandra

Alejandra Aguiñiga is a Staff Archaeologist with over eight years of experience supporting environmental investigation and remediation projects throughout California, Hawaii, and New Mexico. She specializes in archaeological field management, compliance, and cultural resource preservation, overseeing investigations across all phases (I–III). Alejandra has extensive experience conducting archaeological surveys, mitigation monitoring, and preparing Environmental Impact Reports, DPR 523 forms, and Laboratory of Anthropology Site Records.


She currently serves as a Staff Archaeologist with Environmental Resource Compliance, LLC and Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc., collaborating with senior archaeologists to lead field crews, coordinate Native American consultations, and ensure compliance with FEMA Section 106 and Cal Fire’s Forest Practice Rules. Her work includes large-scale environmental and emergency recovery projects such as the CalRecycle Debris and Hazard Tree Removal Programs, Lower American River Elderberry Transplant, Butte County Fire Safety Council Projects, and DR4795 Salt Fire Recovery in Ruidoso, NM.


Alejandra holds a B.A. in Anthropology with a Minor in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fresno. Certified in GIS, FEMA IC 100/200, and 40-Hour HAZWOPER, she brings strong technical mapping skills and field leadership to every project. Fluent in English and Spanish, Alejandra is known for her professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to the protection of cultural and historical resources.
